- a record that you agreed to this Privacy Policy, and when
If you email or phone us directly, we receive whatever information you choose to share.
Information collected automatically
- IP address: used briefly to protect the site from abuse, for example to limit repeated form submissions or failed login attempts. These security records expire automatically within one hour.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not load fonts, scripts or other content from third-party services when you browse this site.
3. Why we use your information
| Purpose | Lawful basis (POPIA section 11) |
|---|---|
| Responding to your enquiry, preparing proposals and quotes | Your consent, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract |
| Delivering services if you become a client | Performance of a contract |
| Keeping the website secure and preventing spam and abuse | Our legitimate interest in protecting our systems and users |

We will not use your information for direct marketing unless you have separately agreed to it, and you can opt out at any time. We never sell or rent personal information.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only when necessary, with:
- Service providers (“operators”) who help us run the business, such as our website hosting and email providers. They may process information only on our instructions and must keep it secure and confidential.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
If a service provider stores information outside South Africa, we will only use providers in countries or under agreements that give protection substantially similar to POPIA, as required by section 72.
5. How we protect it
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, restricting access to enquiries to authorised administrators, login protection, security hardening of the website and keeping software up to date. No system is completely secure, but if a security compromise affects your personal information we will notify you and the Information Regulator as required by POPIA.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship are deleted within 24 months.
- Client records are kept for the duration of our relationship and for as long afterwards as required by law, for example up to five years for tax and accounting records.
- Security records of IP addresses expire automatically within one hour.
7. Your rights
Under POPIA you have the right to:
- ask whether we hold personal information about you, and request a copy of it
- ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete or unlawfully obtained
- object to the processing of your information, on reasonable grounds
- withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect processing already carried out.
